Spinach Lasagna

Ingredients

- 8 ounces lasagna noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (16 ounce) container ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach, thawed and the water squeezed out of it
- 1 egg
- 1 (16 ounce) jar alfredo sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2 cook the lasagna noodles in a large pot of boiling water with olive oil and salt until al dente. drain.
- 3 mix the ricotta, 1/2 cup of parmesan, spinach, and egg together.
- 4 put a little of the alfredo sauce in the bottom of a 6 x 9 inches baking dish.
- 5 place a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce. cover this with half the spinach-ricotta mixture, then alfredo sauce, then another layer of noodles, the rest of the spinach-ricotta mixture, the rest of the alfredo sauce, then cover with lasagna noodles.
- 6 over this sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and then the 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.
- 7 cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- 8 remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes.
- 9 remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
