Spaghetti Meat Sauce (freezable)

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb chopped tomato
  • 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms

Recipe

  • 1 saute onion and garlic in hot oil. add meat and cook until browned.
  • 2 add remaining ingredients; simmer slowly for about 1 hour.
