Stir-fried Rice With Lamb

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onion
  • 1/2 cup diagonally sliced celery
  • 2 cups diced lamb roast
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 3 cups cold cooked rice (rice needs to be cold in order to fry right)
  • 1 cup sliced water chestnuts
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 pinch hot pepper flakes
  • 2 -3 tablespoons soy sauce (to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 saute onions, celery and lamb in oil until vegetables are tender crisp.
  • 2 add rice and water chestnuts.
  • 3 combine pepper, salt, egg and soy sauce. stir into rice mixture.
  • 4 cook, stirring 2-3 minutes or until heated.
