Ingredients
- 1 cup rice, puffed (murmura, mumra, mamra or pori)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons ghee
- 2 teaspoons oil
Recipe
- 1 the puffed rice should be crunchy, if not, roast in 200f oven for 20 minutes.
- 2 powder puffed rice coarsely.
- 3 heat oil in fry pan.
- 4 add sugar and stir.
- 5 when it turns brown, add pori and stir well.
- 6 transfer to a greased or silicone pan/plate.
- 7 cut into pieces.
- 8 variations: peanuts, cashews, roasted edamame, pretzels, rice crackers, wasabi peas, coconut, raisins, almonds, pecans etc etc.
- 9 when cool, store in a jar.
- 10 i can be kept for 2 weeks.
