Spaghetti In Red Sauce With Mixed Olives

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb dried spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (can use less if you like the dish a little "lighter")
  • 1 1/4 cups mixed olives, pitted and halved
  • 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes, more to taste
  • 3 cups of your favorite tomato sauce (home made or jar)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  • 2 cook until al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  • 3 in a large saute pan, heat oil.
  • 4 next, add olives and red pepper flakes.

  • 10 slide pasta into a serving bowl and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and basil.
