Seriously Simple Black Beans

Ingredients
- 8 cups presoaked black beans
- 1 yellow onion
- 4 tablespoons garlic
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 bunch fresh cilantro
Recipe
- 1 simmer beans in water with salt, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper until tender then drain excess water.
- 2 sautee garlic and onions in olive oil until caramelized.
- 3 add caramelized onions and garlic and chopped cilantro.
- 4 serve over rice and enjoy.
