Spinach With Wine And Sesame

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 lb fresh spinach, washed and trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons chinese rice wine or 2 tablespoons dry sherry
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

Recipe

  • 1 heat a wok or large frying pan and add the oil and salt. stir for a moment.
  • 2 shake the excess water off the cleaned spinach and toss into the pan.
  • 3 stir fry over high heat, very quickly, until the spinach wilts and is hot.
  • 4 add the rice wine and sesame oil. garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
