Spaghetti With Fresh Tomatoes

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 5 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 10 fresh basil leaves, cut in strips
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 4 ounces provolone cheese, grated

Recipe

  • 1 stir first 6 ingredients in bowl to mix. cover and let stand about 30 minutes to blend flavours.
  • 2 cook spaghetti in pot of salted water until al dente.
  • 3 transfer tomato mixture including juices to a shallow serving dish. add hot spaghetti, toss to mix. sprinkle with cheese and serve immediately.
