- 1/2 cup canned tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1 lemon, juice of
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- salt
- pepper
Recipe
- 1 in a saucepan, combine tomato sauce, water, butter, onion, and lemon juice.
- 2 simmer covered until butter is melted.
- 3 add rice.
- 4 continue simmering until the liquid is absorbed (about 20 minutes).
