Rice & Vegetables

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 cup long grain rice
  • 1/2 cup sliced raw carrot
  • 1/2 cup broccoli, tips
  • salt & pepper

Recipe

  • 1 add rice to broth (or water) and bring to a boil.
  • 2 when boiling, add vegetables & seasoning, return to boil; reduce heat.
  • 3 simmer for approx 20 min (until water is absorbed, rice is tender).
