Portuguese Sausage Rice

• 1/4 cup butter
• 1 (16 ounce) package gaspars linguica sausage
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 4 cups water
• 2 cups rice

Recipe

• 1 put butter and sliced linguica in pot over medium heat. brown linguica it takes about 15 minute.
• 2 add the water to pot, and salt.
• 3 bring to a boil,add rice. when the rice and water come to a boil, turn heat down to a simmer. stir occasionally throughout cooking time. it takes about 15-20 minute.
