Soupy Mushroom Meatballs

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce, separated
- 1 can mushroom soup (not diluted)
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 cup diced onion
- flour
Recipe
- 1 combine meat, egg, bread crumbs and 1/4 cup tomato sauce and form into small meatballs.
- 2 coat with flour and brown in cooking oil.
- 3 remove from oil and set aside.
- 4 add diced onions and saute until limp.
- 5 add mushroom soup, meatballs, and remaining tomato sauce to the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.
- 6 if the mixture seems too dry, add a small amount of milk.
- 7 taste, and add salt or pepper to taste.
- 8 serve over rice or noodles.
