Spaghetti With Beef And Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon crushed dried basil
- 1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Recipe
- 1 cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- 2 drain, cover and set aside.
- 3 brown beef in large skillet, drain.
- 4 add whole tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, water, basil and garlic.
- 5 stir in italian seasoning and oregano.
- 6 cover and simmer for 15-20 mins.
- 7 stirring often.
- 8 remove from heat and ladle over spaghetti, toss to mix evenly.
