Spaghetti With Beef And Mushroom Sauce

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
  • 1/2 lb mushroom, sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon crushed dried basil
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Recipe

  • 1 cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  • 2 drain, cover and set aside.
  • 3 brown beef in large skillet, drain.
  • 4 add whole tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, water, basil and garlic.
  • 5 stir in italian seasoning and oregano.
  • 6 cover and simmer for 15-20 mins.
  • 7 stirring often.
  • 8 remove from heat and ladle over spaghetti, toss to mix evenly.
