Rice Pilaf

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (10 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1/4 cup green onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup golden raisin
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan bring broth and water to boil add rice simmer low heat 25-30 minute.
  • 2 after rice has been cooking 15 minutes add raisins and onions.
  • 3 after rice has been cooking 20 minutes add parsley, butter, and sherry.
  • 4 after rice is done fold in nuts.
