Spaghetti Siracusani

Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1 can chopped tomato
- 1 chopped anchovy fillet
- 1 teaspoon capers
- 25 g black pitted olives
- 1 tablespoon basil leaves
- 1/2 lb spaghetti
Recipe
- 1 heat oil and add garlic.
- 2 cook gently.
- 3 add tomatoes, anchovy, capers and olives.
- 4 simmer.
- 5 stir in basil.
- 6 season.
- 7 cook pasta in boiling, salted water whilst sauce is simmering.
- 8 drain and serve.
