Spaghetti Siracusani

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 can chopped tomato
  • 1 chopped anchovy fillet
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • 25 g black pitted olives
  • 1 tablespoon basil leaves
  • 1/2 lb spaghetti

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil and add garlic.
  • 2 cook gently.
  • 3 add tomatoes, anchovy, capers and olives.
  • 4 simmer.
  • 5 stir in basil.
  • 6 season.
  • 7 cook pasta in boiling, salted water whilst sauce is simmering.
  • 8 drain and serve.
