Speedy Gingerbread Oatmeal

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup instant oats
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 cup golden raisin (optional)
- 1/8 cup walnuts (optional)
Recipe
- 1 mix the oats, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, salt, raisins and water in a microwave-safe bowl.
- 2 microwave on high for 1-1.25 minutes, stirring every 15-30 seconds until the oatmeal has reached the desired consistency.
- 3 stir in the brown sugar, walnuts and a few drops of milk, serve warm.
