Rice Pilaf

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup long grain rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in a 2 qt. saucepan over high heat.
- 2 saute' onion and green pepper until tender crisp.
- 3 add rice; cook for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
- 4 add water and chicken bouillon; bring to a boil.
- 5 stir once.
- 6 reduce heat to low.
- 7 stir once.
- 8 cover and cook for 15 minutes.
- 9 don't look!
- 10 remove from heat and uncover.
- 11 let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
- 12 serve hot.
