Spaghetti With Beef Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs button mushrooms (sliced)
  • 4 garlic cloves (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons emeril seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup parsley (chopped)

Recipe

  • 1 cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  • 2 heat oil in large pan over medium heat.
  • 3 add mushrooms, onions cook 6 minutes stirring often.
  • 4 add garlic, beef, and seasonings; and cook until beef is not pink. drain well and return to pan.
  • 5 add tomatoes with juice and bring to boil.
  • 6 reduce heat and stir in cream and 3/4 of cheese. simmer until sauce has thickened slightly (about 3 minutes).
  • 7 serve over pasta. garnish with parsley and remaining cheese.
