Spaghetti With Beef Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

- 1 lb spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs button mushrooms (sliced)
- 4 garlic cloves (chopped)
- 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 teaspoons emeril seasoning
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup parsley (chopped)
Recipe
- 1 cook spaghetti according to package directions.
- 2 heat oil in large pan over medium heat.
- 3 add mushrooms, onions cook 6 minutes stirring often.
- 4 add garlic, beef, and seasonings; and cook until beef is not pink. drain well and return to pan.
- 5 add tomatoes with juice and bring to boil.
- 6 reduce heat and stir in cream and 3/4 of cheese. simmer until sauce has thickened slightly (about 3 minutes).
- 7 serve over pasta. garnish with parsley and remaining cheese.
