Spaghetti With Brown Butter

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 6 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Recipe

  • 1 bring 6 cups of water to a boil.
  • 2 add the salt, and stir.
  • 3 once the water is boiling, add the dry spaghetti noodles to the water.
  • 4 check the spaghetti once it has been cooking for about 10 minutes to see if it is al dente. that is firm in the center, but still chewy.
  • 5 once it is al dente, drain the water.
  • 6 while the spaghetti is cooking, heat the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  • 7 stir the butter so that it will not burn.
  • 8 remove from heat when butter turns light brown and gives off a nutty aroma.
