Sausage Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground italian sausage
- 1 (16 ounce) jar ragu classic alfredo sauce
- 1 (16 ounce) box fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup kraft fancy shredded italian cheese blend (mozzarella & parmesan)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
Recipe
- 1 brown sausage until fully cooked, drain grease.
- 2 empty ragu alfredo sauce into a large saucepan and place over med-hi heat. add about 1/2 cup of milk to the jar and shake well then pour into the saucepan.
- 3 add remaining 1 cup of milk to sauce and stir well.
- 4 add the pepper and minced garlic to the sauce and stir.
- 5 add the sausage to the sauce and stir.
- 6 add the shredded cheese to the sauce and stir well until the cheese is melted and sauce is close to boiling. reduce heat to low and stir occasionally.
- 7 in a separate pot boil approximately 8 oz of the fettucine (about half a box) until tender. drain and add to sauce mix.
- 8 cook for 15-20 minutes on low stirring occasionally.
