Sour Cream Cornbread

Ingredients

  • Servings: 16
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Recipe

  • 1 in a bowl mix the flour, cornmeal, sugar,baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • 2 stir in the sour cream, milk, egg, and butter. pour into a greased, 8-inch square pan.
  • 3 bake at 425 degrees f for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
  • 4 cut into squares and serve warm.
