Simmered Italian Rice

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 3/4 cups swanson chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning, crushed
  • 3/4 cup uncooked long-grain rice
  • 1 cup chopped fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 heat broth & italian seasoning in 2 quart saucepan over med-hi heat, bring to a boil. stir rice and spinach into saucepan. reduce heat to low, cover & simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender. gently fluff with a fork and stir in cheese. serve.
