Spinach Gratin

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs spinach, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons catsup
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 3 tablespoons wheat germ
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons wine
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Recipe

  • 1 combine spinach through horseradish.
  • 2 put in a casserole coated with cooking spray.
  • 3 combine wheat germ and butter and sprinkle over top.
  • 4 bake at 325° for 20 minute.
  • 5 mix tomato paste through oregano, warm in a saucepan and serve with spinach.
