Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 medium green pepper, chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can beef broth
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 3/4 cup uncooked rice
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Recipe
- 1 in skillet, cook beef, onions and peppers until beef is browned and vegetables are tender. drain.
- 2 stir in broth, tomato sauce, rice, chili powder and garlic powder. heat to boiling. cover; cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed; stir occasionally.
- 3 serve with cheese and sour cream, if desired.
