Stroganoff Meatballs

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 (10 ounce) can consomme (undiluted)
- 1 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 meat balls: combine all ingredients in large bowl.
- 2 mix well and roll into balls of desired size.
- 3 place on edged cookie sheet and bake at 350°f for 25-30 minutes.
- 4 remove from oven, drain and set aside.
- 5 sauce: brown onion in butter, add flour, mix well.
- 6 add ketchup and consommé, cooking slowly until thickened.
- 7 add sour cream, then meat balls.
- 8 place in casserole and heat in 300°f oven until serving time.
- 9 serve over broad egg noodles or rice.
- 10 *i usually don't add the full cup of sour cream, but just add a bit at a time until i think it is right for me.
