Super Chicken, Broccoli 'n Rice Skillet

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast (cut in small bite size pieces)
  • 1 cup frozen chopped broccoli (thawed)
  • 1 (6 7/8 ounce) package chicken rice-a-roni (rice-a-roni works best)
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano

Recipe

  • 1 in small bowl, combine all spices; set aside.
  • 2 in large skillet over medium heat, melt margarine.
  • 3 add chicken.
  • 4 sprinkle spice mix over chicken.
  • 5 stir to coat.
  • 6 saute chicken until lightly browned.
  • 7 do not drain.
  • 8 in same skillet as chicken is in, cook rice according to package directions.
  • 9 when adding water, also add broccoli.
  • 10 cover and turn heat to low.
  • 11 simmer for 15 minutes, or until water is absorbed.
  • 12 enjoy.
