Sour Cream Chicken

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 6 slices bacon, raw
  • 1 (2 1/4 ounce) jar sliced dried beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 line an 8" square pan with dried beef that has been rinsed and squeezed dry.
  • 2 wrap one bacon strip around each chicken breast.
  • 3 place chicken breasts in pan on dried beef.
  • 4 in a bowl, mix the mushroom soup and sour cream.
  • 5 pour mixture over chicken breasts.
  • 6 sprinkle lightly with garlic powder.
  • 7 bake at 250f for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until chicken is tender.
  • 8 serve with rice, using pan juices as a gravy.
  • 9 *adjustratio of soup to sour cream to your individual taste.
