Steak Stir Fry W/ Ginger, Red Pepper, And Snow Peas

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs boneless sirloin steaks
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1/3 cup beef broth
- 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon water
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, chopped and peeled
- 8 ounces snow peas
- 1 red bell pepper, juliened
Recipe
- 1 combine 1/2 tsp cornstarch with 1 tsp water.
- 2 slice meat against the grain into 2 in strips.
- 3 whisk egg until foamy, then add salt and cornstarch.
- 4 stir in beef and set aside.
- 5 in another bowl combine hoisin, vinegar, broth, cornstarch and water and sesame oil.
- 6 using a wok, preheat and add peanut oil.
- 7 stir fry beef, undrained, until brown.
- 8 stir in ginger.
- 9 fry an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- 10 add sauce and vegetables.
- 11 fry 1-3 minutes until all heated through.
