Spinach With Dill

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 15 ounces tomato sauce
  • 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 saute onions in oil.
  • 2 add garlic and dill to saucepan and continue to saute for two minutes.
  • 3 add tomato sauce and bring to a boil. simmer for 10 minutes on low heat.
  • 4 add spinach and water, then bring to a boil again. cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
  • 5 serve warm over cooked rice.
