Scottish Shortbread

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice flour
  • 2 1/4 cups plain flour

Recipe

  • 1 have butter at room temperature.
  • 2 cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy/creamy.
  • 3 stir insifted flours in two batches.
  • 4 turn on ligtly floured surface. knead lightly until smooth.
  • 5 roll into ballsplace on greased trays and bake in a slow oven for 20-30 minutes.
