Salsa Rice

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups chunky salsa
  • 2 cups uncooked instant rice
  • 1 -1 1/2 cup shredded colby-monterey jack cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in a saucepan, bring water and salsa to a boil.
  • 2 stir in rice.
  • 3 remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
  • 4 stir in cheese; cover and let stand for 30 seconds or until cheese is melted.
