Sour Cream Top Sirloin

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs top sirloin steaks
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dijon-style mustard
- 1/4 lb sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- rice or buttered noodles, as desired
Recipe
- 1 cut meat into serving-size pieces.
- 2 dredge in flour, seasoned with paprika, salt and pepper.
- 3 heat oil in a heavy skillet. sear steak on one side. turn meat.
- 4 add onion, garlic, water, soy sauce, brown sugar and mustard.
- 5 cover. simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 6 add mushrooms. continue to simmer for 5 minutes or until meat is tender.
- 7 add sour cream. simmer until thoroughly heated.
