Ingredients

- 1 cup warm water (105 to 115 degrees)
- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Recipe
- 1 mix water, the sourdough start and flour in a non-metallic bowl. cover loosely. let stand in warm place until mixture bubbles and has a definite sour aroma (about 24 hours).
- 2 mix sugar, salt and baking soda into sourdough mixture. stir in enough of the remaining flour to make dough easy to handle. knead dough on well-floured surface. form and let rise until double in size, covered.
