Steph's Hotdog Kabobs

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 all-beef hot dogs
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 zucchini, chopped
  • 1 (12 ounce) package baby portabella mushrooms
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • skewer
  • hot cooked rice

Recipe

  • 1 cut up hot dogs, zucchini and bell pepper into bite sized pieces. skewer the hot dogs, zucchini, bell peppers and mushrooms onto wood skewers, leaving a little room between each.
  • 2 mix applesauce and bbq sauce together. brush onto the kabobs and let sit for at least an hour in the refrigerator.
  • 3 grill over medium heat or broil them in your oven for 20 minutes, basting once.
  • 4 serve over rice.
